Only open cases are seen in retail sores. Collectors prefer the unpunched and untouched by retail store shelve action figures. Collectors may choose to have sealed cases sent in for professional grading. Independent graders such as AFA will mark add a "U" (Proof Uncirculated) grading to the figure to note it was from a factory sealed case. Keep in mind that graders such as AFA require the sealed case sent to them. One can;'t open it and re-seal it or it won't get a "U" - Uncirculated grade. Return policy on sealed cases is that they cannot be opened or re-sealed.
