They are called "Bend-ems" because the figures can bend into numerous positions. Some Bend-ems Action Figures include exclusive Topps Trading cards.   Bend-ems Collector FAQ Images shown are for illustrative purposes and may vary in terms of color, text, and variation. Actual figures are substantially identical as shown. There were variations of packaging with certain text. The items shown here may or may not contain a variation. Grading: Unless noted, all Bend-ems are graded non-mint to C75. It is very hard to find a high grade C8+ bendems because the blister was fitted over the body of the figure, as opposed to a boxed blister. By 1994, boxed blisters were made to finish out the series. Cards tend to be thicker verses the traditional cards thus reducing the probability of bent cards. In our experience with these since their release, we find the average grade has been C7, and above average C75. Anything above C75 would be considered exceptional and more uncommon to rare in our view. Which One to Buy? We have discounted figures with grades under C75. Non-mint generally means the card or blister is in below average condition from a collector view point. The action figures are 100% fine and have no damage. These are great for buying and playing with. If you plan on opening the figure, save the money and buy the lessor expensive version.
