Charlie's Angels debuted in 1976 and became an instant hit with television

Three law enforcement officers bounded by seemingly "hazardous
duties," were swept away to work as private detectives for a man named, "Charlie" (John Forsythe).
The Angels tried, but never saw Charlie in person. However, they always solved their cases in an interesting array
of designer clothing, while maintaining perfect hair and makeup.
