time.
How big? Using inflation adjusted numbers, Star Wars: Episode IV (A New Hope) is the #2 box office cash machine
of all time, following Gone with the Wind (1939) (Source).
That kind of success has kept Mr. George Lucas on the Forbes list.
And as much fun, entertainment, and inspiration Mr. Lucas has given people world wide, it is well deserved.
Mr. Lucas has contributed to many causes including a $175 million record donation
to his Los Angeles alma mater, the University
of Southern California (USC).
2007 marked the 30th anniversary of Star Wars (1977-2007).
